I Choose Slippers

I am going to address the importance of slippers in this article and why they are an excellent choice of footwear. What I will say is solely my own opinion. My wish is to express my true appreciation for slippers for everyone else.

I am a 24 year old college student who recently quit his job to go back to school. Throughout my entire life I have had an unusual fondness for slippers. In my early college years when I was fresh out of high school, I wore slippers EVERYWHERE. The "older generations" of people look down on us younger generations as if we were lazy and incompetent of dressing ourselves to go out in public. Now that I have a few years under my belt I can see where they are coming from but very strongly disagree when it comes to the topic of slippers.

I come from a place that gets rather cold in the winters. One of my favorite things to do is put on a pair of comfortable slippers and sit down and watch a movie. I'm not exactly sure why this appeals to me so much but after much thought I have decided that in a sense it provides me with a warm comforting feeling as if I were sitting by my mother. My mother also said that I have to take care of my feet if I want to avoid foot problems in my later years. This could be a reason as well.

Slippers allow us to enjoy the comfort of our own home inside and outside the house. Slippers now days can be dual purpose with a rubber sole for walking outside. So my question to you is if they are built to go outside, then why not take them outside? There are many brands of slippers on the market today that provide you with the warm feeling of being wrapped up in a blanket as you are out and about on the market. Daniel Greens Slippers is a popular brand of slippers that got their idea from factory workers who constructed slippers out of piano felt to keep their feet warm on the cold factory floors.

We all know how a pair of bad shoes or shoes of the wrong size can ruin your day. If slippers can provide you with comfort all day long then why not take that step and wear them more often. There are great for hours upon hours of studying. They are perfect for coming home after a long day of work and just relaxing. It's as if you have foot massagers on all day long. I love men's slippers. When I was in Peru I bought myself 2 pairs of slippers made out of Llama wool because I love them that much. So I ask of everyone that reads this to not think differently about us "younger generation" if we wear slippers out in public. Maybe that is our only sense of comfort in this every so crazy world.
