Hyundai used cars like the Entourage was Hyundais first entry into the minivan market place. The motor company waited a long time to get into this segment of the auto industry and it was only until 2007 did they venture into this space. The Hyundai Entourage competes against the likes of the Dodge Grand Caravan, Kia Sedona and the Chevrolet Uplander Lt just to name a few. Anything from Toyota or Honda is much more expensive and so I dont include them in this market place. My research will be on the Hyundai Entourage as a used vehicle to look at.

The Entourage is one of the most comfortable minivans on the used market. It offers power sliding doors and a center tray table with four cup holders. It also offers there premium HVAC system with both front and second row controls for heating and air. The interior has a two-tone colour layout, with wood grain and metal grain trim. All limited Entourages come standard with leather seats and the two front seats are heated as well. There also is a rear seat entertainment system with an eight-inch monitor and it also has an AM-FM radio, CD changer and a MP3 audio system. The Entourages makes it easy to add space with its flip and fold second row seats and the hideaway third row.

I could only find one fuel statistic for the Entourage and it was 13.2-litres, per 100km, for city driving and 8.8-litres, per 100km, for highway driving. These fuel statistics are very similar to the leading Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey.
The Entourage has a V6, 3.8-litre engine and this produces 250 horsepower with 253 pounds of torque. The Entourages even with its powerful engine still gets great grades for Ultra Low Emissions making it environmentally friendly. This V6 engine uses an advanced five speed automatic transmission giving it smooth shifts.

Lets look at the pros and cons of the Hyundai Entourage as a used vehicle:

1-It was giving a below averaging rating for models from 2007 to 2008 for reliability as a used car from a leading online consumer watch dog.
2-There is a problem with the battery draining to quickly because of an improperly installed door lock.
3-There are problems with vibrations to the steering on highway driving.
4-The Entourage gets a good rating for a frontal crash test done to it by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety organization.
