Hudson Valley: Honda Civic 2012 Is Best Version Yet

Someone recently asked me how do you know when one has found success and although upon first listen the question seems intuitively easy to answer, I must admit I struggled. I finally determined that there are levels of success and although someone may find a certain level of success by reaching a certain goal, this does not in itself mean the person has found success in the grand sense of the word. I concluded that to truly find success in all of its glories, one must continuously find increased levels of success over a long period of time. Madonna comes to mind as a perfect example, her and the Honda Civic.
Much like Madonna, the Honda Civic, available at your local Hudson Valley Honda Civic dealership, has been around for a long time. In fact, the Honda Civic will welcome its ninth generation model this spring, when the 2012 version of the Honda Civic hits Hudson Valley new Honda lots. For an automobile to be on its ninth generation and still going strong, it is obvious that the vehicle has found success in the grand sense of the word.
The latest Honda Civic, the 2012, debuted earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show in Coupe and Sedan concept form. Although these premiered vehicles were called concepts, auto industry insiders expect the actual production version of the 2012 Civic to be all but identical to the concept forms seen at the show. Despite Honda keeping hush-hush about most details of the Honda Civic, insiders have fairly good reason to believe that the vehicle wont be changed much from the concept models, save for a reduction in the 19-inch machined alloy wheels that carried the bodies of the Civic vehicles in Detroit.
There are a lot of changes to the 2012 Honda Civic, however, when compared to last years model of the Honda Civic. To start, there will still be numerous trim levels of the Civic like in the past, but this years Civics will be more performance oriented. Additionally, the hybrid Civic will utilize a lithium-ion battery for the first time. Also, most of the 2012 Civic models found on your local Hudson Valley Honda Civic dealers lot will utilize new Honda technology called EcoAssist. This technology allows drivers to choose from different drive modes that will in turn assist with driving performance and fuel efficiency. Finally, the 2012 Civic vehicles get Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (i-VTEC), which is fancy technology that also improves fuel efficiency.
Honda has yet to specifically announce when the 2012 Civic models will make their way onto Hudson Valley new Honda dealership lots, but has maintained that the date will be spring of 2011. Whats more, Honda has not announced pricing of the 2012 Civic, but industry insiders expect the vehicle to be similar in price to some of its main competitors, the Toyota Corolla, the Hyundai Elantra and the Chevy Cruze. As we celebrated the coming of April this past weekend, there surely cant be much more wait for this highly anticipated, long-term success of a vehicle, the Honda Civic.
