HubPages is a site where you can write, comment or discuss anything from smelly snails to excellent enterprises. It is extremely easy to use so even the internet newbies can use it from day one as can the seasoned professional for making money on the internet.

The tools on this site are down to earth and user friendly. It does of course have some rules and do's and dont's, so here we can take an overview of HubPages itself.

A hub is a web page with information written by you, not copied from elsewhere, about any subject. The great thing is that there is so much you can do to make it interesting for the reader and we all know that relevant interest creates buying customers. In addition, you can add pictures and of course you can put that all important link in there taking the user straight to your website. Let your content be relevant, fresh and up to date and this being the case your work on Hubpages will be ongoing in order to keep it up to date etc. Don't place too many links on your page as it is frowned upon and you may if you continue the practice be eventually closed with none of your hubs being published.

If you're a business you will undoubtedly want to use the site to be making money on the internet and the same rules will apply here as they do on other sites. Do not blatantly promote yourself. Just discuss your topic and point the reader to your one or two links. If you have made the content relevant and interesting he or she will click on the link without your asking anyway.

Make sure your content is long enough. If it is ridiculously small it will not be accepted. Do not copy others' works. Your website needs to be good quality, if not then your content will not be accepted while the links themselves must certainly not be deceptive. Take the person to the place you said you would take them.
