HTC Snap introduces a complete set of multimedia features and is specially crafted to keep the life in running mode smoothly. One can handle the e-mails and contacts, modify calendar and stay completely well organized with known experience of operating system Windows Mobile. Typing text has been also made easier and quicker through surefire QWERTY Keyboard.

Major features of HTC Snap

Running on the operating system of Windows Mobile, it utilizes the functionality of 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7225. The onboard memory is shared as 256 megabytes for ROM and 192 megabytes for RAM. The net weight of the unit is 120 gm including battery and it measures the net dimensions of 116 x 61 x 12 mm.

A TFT LCD 2.4 inches screen with QVGA resolution and backlight of LED is supported that looks so elegant when beholding in hands. The networks are WCDMA and HSDPA with frequency bands of 2100/900 MHz and down link speed of 7.2 mbps while quad band EDGE/GPRS/GSM supports the frequency bands of 1900, 1800, 900 and 850 MHz. However, data speed and band frequency are highly dependent upon operator.

To control the device, a trackball with Enter button is flanked in the unit that renders fast and easy access to all major applications of the gadget. Inbuilt GPS antenna equipped in the unit augments the step by step navigation and direction finding greatly.

The different connectivity options such as Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for stereo headsets (wireless) and enhanced data rate, HTC ExtUSB and Wi Fi 11b/g are flanked in the unit for promising myriad communications.

Lithium ion rechargeable battery having the power capacity of 1500 mAh offers the talk time of 510 minutes in GSM, 300 minutes for WCDMA and standby time of 380 hours in GSM and 480 hours in WCDMA network. In addition, some other features are 2.0 mega pixel camera, extendable memory and tremendous AC adaptor with DC output 1A and 5V.
