Htc Salsa Review: Surf Facebook On The Go

By:

When HTC launched the HTC ChaCha as an exclusive Facebook phone, Facebook fanatics were completely delighted with such an offering. But HTC did surprise quite a few by announcing yet another handset over this elite range, the HTC Salsa. Just like the ChaCha, this too is yet another Facebook phone only difference being its far better than the ChaCha on most departments. According to HTC Salsa review published online, the handset weighs in a mere 120g even after incorporating a rather large 3.4 inch TFT capacitive touch screen. The display arrives with a built in Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and the highly acclaimed HTC Sense UI. Looking at several HTC Salsa review, the handset definitely stands out thanks to the brushed aluminum body panels that ooze elegance all the way. The Salsa will only ship in trademark HTC black and silver, where as close HTC sources report that 5 other colors will be added to HTC Salsa deals within the fag end of this year.

The one thing that makes Salsa unique is the fact that by being an exclusive Facebook handset, its virtually avoiding market competition. The only opposition it will face is from the very own HTC ChaCha. Most mobile phone reviews are certainly impressed with HTCs Facebook strategy that could possibly catapult the status of HTC even further. So what are the features users can expect over the Salsa? Well, according to recent mobile phone reviews users can pretty much enjoy the same liberty with Facebook that they acquire over their desktops. All Facebook notifications and updates are downloaded automatically, besides users do have the liberty to upload pictures, create multiple galleries, tag photos, deliver comments and even change privacy settings if they need to. However, the biggest plus is the fact that users can actually chat with online friends and if needed send and accept new requests and even post comments over walls.

Other than being purely dedicated to Facebook, the handset does incorporate the latest Android 2.4 gingerbread OS thats powered by a 600 MHz processor. The Salsa also has an ingenious 5 MP Autofocus camera with LED flash. HTC have provided the Salsa a secondary VGA camera for video chatting. As a mark of exclusivity, HTC have installed a dazzling blue Facebook logo right beneath the touch screen of the handset. Even though HTC hasnt shared any HTC Salsa deals as yet, but certain mobile phone reviews view that HTC Salsa deals will be priced within the mid segment and will enter the market within Q1 of 2011.
