How to save money on dream gears

By: Chloe W.

As everyone talked about the Apple's new product, this $1,799 fancy laptop is a big wanted for many buyers. A cool appeal, touchpad, super slim, and decent processing power, it seems MacBook Air is a must for travelers, professionals, and even students. On the other hand, another big hit in 2007 was iPhone. It started with 2 years contract with AT&T, but right now you don't have to sign any contract and can get a iPhone for $399.

Apple always catches our eyes and people always want to have a piece of it to standing out themselves as cool persons with sexiest high-tech products. In the past year, only for iPod, it presents a fast pace in the market. For example, iPod classic at $249, iPod nano at $149, iPod shuffle at $79, and iPod touch starts at $299, other like with no color, color, video and many perks to attract buyers. If you are an Apple aficionado like me, I think you already spend lots of money on these.

It seems we just cannot catch up these fast coming products. The question is how we balance our budgets and own these at the same time. The nice tip for you is that you can always go to local retailers to check out the price when sales. But I find out the online research in advance is a must. This is how I find lots of great discount deals online.

As many people notice, you can always go to price comparison websites like Shoppingbots to get lower price deal. But I find out it is not enough, sometimes you get the same deal without any discount. Or you might go to eBay or other auction sites to find out your low price deals, but how often you can find a really nice and decent one is in question. Chances are little, and sometimes you have to do lots of guesswork since you don't trust the sellers for such a "low price" deal.

On the other hand, some skeptical people might find the "free iPhone" on the ad banner when they surf online. In fact, I try this before by my curiosity. It turned out I realized there is no free lunch for sure. Don't be fool with these appealing ads because they need your personal ID and credit card number for their sponsors. What's more, you need to purchase other products in order to cumulative your "points" to reach their criteria. That's say; you might spend $500 for a $149 iPod nano. It is defiantly not good.

Therefore, I will suggest you go to coupon sites to check out the latest bargain deals for Apple. Coupon sites such as Icetab.com is providing some great deals for Apple for real. It avoids guesswork for you. Again, we all like discount because why pay full price if we can pay less. But the most important is to be savvy and don't be fool with those unreal deals.
