How to Have a Beautiful Casino Wedding

By: Collin Dowall 2

When many people think weddings and casinos they think the Elvis chapel in Las Vegas, but many casinos have beautiful wedding halls and can hold big and small weddings. They are wedding options that can fit almost any budget.

The first thing you should do is to make a list of who you want to invite to your wedding. Once you get that list you can start looking for a casino that will hold the wedding. Some casinos will only hold an event for 300 or more people and some places may only have room for 200 people or less so how many people you are expecting at your wedding can have a big impact on where you can have it.

The next thing you need to do when planning a wedding in a casino is to start calling all the casinos in the area you want to have your wedding and make appointments to go see them. If you have a date in mind it may be harder to find a place then if your date for the wedding is flexible.

When going to see the casinos try to ask as many questions as you can. Make sure to ask what is included in the price and what items you have to cover on your own. It is best to make a sheet of questions and make sure to ask them to each place you visit. This will allow you to make a better comparison between the different casinos. This will become important when it comes time to pick the best place for your wedding.

Also when looking at places make sure when they give you the price to negotiate. These places pad the price a bit knowing that you are going to try to get the price down, so if you do not haggle a bit then you are going to pay too much, and if you are not the haggling type make sure to bring a family member who is good at negotiating with you.

Some people say that all anyone will remember is the food and others say it's the music. I personally believe that all people will remember is the atmosphere. If everyone is having a good time they will remember the wedding as being great, but if they are not having fun they will remember the wedding as not nice.

Many people prefer a wedding band for their wedding but DJ's are becoming more and more common. The music should be good for dancing, both fast and slow and be a reflection of what the couple getting married likes. When the happy couple walks into the room before their first dance together the song playing should be a song that is meaningful to both of them.

The big advantage to having a wedding in a casino is the ability to have casino gamming inside the hall with you. You can have table games and slot machines that are private for your wedding guests only, so you can all dance, drink and gamble together having a great time.
