How You Use Key Words

Key words are the "back bone" of all good marketing plans and the biggest part of what is called SEO (Search Engine Optimization). The marketing plan of your choice may be an excellent one but if you are using bad key words you may think that it was a bad marketing plan when it was just the wrong key words. We use key words to find your website, articles, videos and blogs. Search engines are totally key word based so it is very important to use key words that are what people would use when searching for a site like yours. You also want key words that not too many other web sites are competing for.

The big trick is how do you get your website link to show up as close to the first search engine results without spending too much money.
The best way to do this is;

1.Here "popularity" counts! The search engine owners want you to be happy with your search results so they put the more popular web sites closer to the top. What will get you to become the Queen or King of the search engine results? By how many other web pages are linked to your web page. Now if the other web page has many other pages link to it then it has some popularity too and give your web page even more popularity. Now some of those links back to your web page get more points than other ones.

Here are even more techniques to get better quality links to your web page;
A.If the page has some of the same key words. The rules in #2 below also apply.
B.Is a popular web page.
C.Videos rock and get higher points too..
D.If the content (words) on the web page changes one or more times a week.. An easy way to do this is have comments section.

2.A website that has the strongest possibility of being what the person is looking for. A way it does that it by looking at themeta tags. Mata tags are a part of the computer code called HTML that makes up the web page, you do not see most of this unless you click on "view" in the top bar of most internet browsers and then click on "view source". The mata tage are mata title, mata key words and mata discretion. Also it scans (in order of important); The web page content (words on the page), title, words that are in a link, bold, italic, different color, different size, highlighted, or in the URL.

Now I know many of you want to make money from home online with small business opportunities. There are many legitimate work from home MLM companies that give you a free web site. These free web sites can be very attractive and functional but they often do not have any of the meta tags and are not key word loaded. Do not worry, you can still do very good with these free websites by finding the best key words for your work from home online business, create a blog and focus very heavily on article marketing with links going back to your business web site and your blog. The blog is very important because you are in complete control of it and do all of what is said in number 2 above. On your blog you can also have links to your business web site along with information that helps your down line be more successful and much more as you learn more about using blogs. In this business the learning never stops!
