Step 1: Brainstorm

groom speech? Are there any stories of friends or family that helped you to grow as a couple? What do you want to tell your wife? While brainstorming keep in mind that being genuine is always the best way to go. People will always know when the speech is heartfelt.
Step 2: Put it on Paper
Start your groom speech with thanking all your guests, parents, anyone special to you and your bride. Tell your wife what she means to you. Talk about your parents and how they helped you make it all happen. Write what feels right. Don't worry if you think it might sound cheesy. If it is heartfelt everyone will enjoy it.
Step 3: Condense
Keep your groom speech short and personal. Though you may fell more comfortable just reading it word for word, pick out bullet points. You want it to be personal and genuine.
