The nobleman have got the virtue of keep ones promise, He was as good as his words. Suit the action to the word since the ancient times. We usually quote these to describe a man of his words.

No matter in work or everyday life, integrity is the virtue to measure the personal relationship. It is believed that all people would like to get involved with the honest people. Those who always break their promise or the non-noble persons will often be shunned from or expelled.

When we talk about the topic of integrity, I recall clearly the Chinese old story about little boy and wolf that everyone know. There is a boy who grazes sheep at a hill, during that time, he feel so boring that he had nothing to do, then he want to make a joke with people where they are on the hill, He begins to shout that the wolf is coming, help me! , then many people come here to help him. But, he deceives of people who are coming to help him. And at second time, he do that once again, and those people get there again, and the third time, the wolf is really coming, finally, there is no body trusting him anymore. The result is boy was killed by wolf.

Frankly speaking, No one likes those who always break their promises, especially in work, since the integrity in the business circle relates to the timing, reputation and responsibilities. Suppose that I am a supplier, I will have to deliver goods on time, and once I can't do so, no retailer wants to cooperate with me because I have them lose the best timing for sell; suppose that I am an employer, I will have to pay for my employees' salaries as the contracts listed, and once I can't do so, no talent wants to join in, because I have them lose their faith in the reputation of my company; suppose that I am a worker, I will have to keep the professional ethics and fulfill my duties in the position, and once I can't do so, no enterprise wants to let me in, because I am not a person with conscientiousness in their eyes.

All in all, whether at work or in daily life, the integrity is so important that we must keep a promise for the other people. Then, you can enjoy a good reputation in the society, you can get lots of trust from others, and you can get a good social status.
