When you have a female friend that you would much rather be dating than just hanging out with, it can really eat at you. Every time you hear her even mention another guy's name, you get the feeling that you might lose her and you do not want that. You have to face it and realize that you want to be MORE than just friends with her, you want to make her your girlfriend.

This scenario plays out almost every day, and most of the time, the guy just keeps on cruising along as just her friend when he really pines for something more. You do not want to constantly have to deal with the feeling that you want to be her boyfriend while you play the role of just being her guy friend.

Here's how to turn a female friend into your girlfriend, simple and fast:

1. You need to change her perception of you. Right now, you can be relatively sure that she sees you as nothing more than a friend. And as long as she sees you as being just a friend, then you are going to stay that way. Women can compartmentalize their friends and not stray into getting physical. Men, not so much. So, you are definitely going to have to work on changing her perception of you.

2. You have to create some distance in the friendship. If you hang out all of the time, then trying to change the whole situation will be a lot harder and almost impossible unless you create a little bit of space there. The more you stay hanging out together as just friends, the further and further away from your goal of being her boyfriend you are going to end up at. So, create some space for the time being.

3. Re-enter her life and start things off right. After a short period of time has passed, you want to come back around and act a little different this time. Now, you want to be the guy that she flirts with, the guy that seems to make her heart skip a beat. Don't go back trying to be her friend and hoping that this will somehow make her want you. It's not going to happen that way.
