How To Think Like A Successful Entrepreneur

By:

The difference between being a successful entrepreneur and a embarrassing failure as a business owner is like night and day. There are subtle but powerful differences between the two. Becoming a entrepreneur is a process in and of itself which means you may not hit a home run your first time at bat. In my studies and my personal experiences, I have found some key distinction that I want to share with you.

First of all, these difference makers ask totally different questions. Instead of asking how can I make this one sale?, they ask what is the lifetime value of this customer? Instead of asking what product can I sale thats hot right now?, they ask how can I create the greatest amount of value for my client with my product and/or services and be profitable during the process?or what problem is my product/service a solution to? Also, since theyre really time conscious, theyre constantly asking themselves how to get the highest and best use of their time?

Secondly, these modern day super heroes believe strongly in multiple income streams. They simply refuse to rely totally on one way to make money. Whether they have multiple businesses or just one business, the philosophy is still the same. They squeeze all of the juice they can out an opportunity while continuing to add value to the end user.

Thirdly, they understand that marketing is a process. It is has been verified that its going to take more than one exposure to a business for someone to make a purchase. As a rule of thumb, its going to take at least 7 or more exposures for people to even realize your business exist in some cases. So with that in mind, its going to take some patience as well as a marketing budget to really allow the process to take over. There are a thousand and one ways to market a business and I will unpack them later articles. The point I want to reiterate is that successful entrepreneurs market their business or businesses through multiple channels.

Fourth, their number one concern apart from creating value for their customers is (ROI) which is return on investment. Since theyre not some big massive corporation that can spend millions of dollars to brand themselves, they make sure that cost is calculated.

Thinking like a successful entrepreneur is like sports in some ways. There are effective ways to win and there are also ineffective ways that will almost guarantee you will lose. What Ive just shared with you will better your winning percentage.
