You start aging from the minute you are born, your body endures many changes during it's early development towards full adulthood. As you reach young adolescence, however the body experiences a series of senescence, or abnormal body changes due to its aging.

This means that body has already to start to function less effectively.The body makes these changes on it's own which at this stage most people will hardly notice but are the first indicators of the body starting to slowly age.

The musculoskeletal system is the first area that most age related diseases and illnesses start. For this reason once, a person turns 35 years of age regardless of their activities, athletic nature, they become more likely to be effected by aging. Still it is possible to reduce such age related diseases and ilnesses by avoiding injuries to the muscles and joints, and living a healthy life.

You can do this by avoiding accidents when possible, abuse, excessive alcohol, drugs, tobacco and other unhealthy habits. You can improve your health by exercising, eating a healthy diet, socializing with positive people, and avoiding environmental toxins.

Regular medical check ups can have their benefits also. When discussing your health with your medical practitioner make sure that he is fully appraised of all the facts including any know family history of illness and disease especially any that family members may have suffered in old age.

As noted earlier, our body starts to deteriorate due to aging by age 35, also our sensory organs may also start to take a rain check. At this time, the eyes may become affected and you might find it difficult to focus on objects up close. In medical terms, this condition is known as presbyopia.

This is why its common to see many people in the world over the age 40 wearing glasses, contact lenses, bifocals and so on. In the US alone this figure exceeds 90 million. But for some the aging process starts even sooner and many people of 35 and below can be found wearing glasses or contact lenses.

On top failing eye sight you might also experience some hearing loss. Although not that common some people may even be deaf by age 40 and most notice some partial hearing loss. This is a condition know as presbycusis which is directly related to aging. One effect of this condition might be certain sounds become in audible or sound harsh or just to loud.

Previously you might have enjoyed a good rock concert but now you find the sound you once loved too much for your ears to cope with. Or if one time you'd visit a night club and your ears used to ring when you left but then stop in a few minutes but now you find it takes several hours. You might even find conversations hard to listen to especially if there is a lot of background noise.

Since the hearing becomes weaker,you will hear speech patterns differently. For instance, the use of K may sound distorted, which affects your understanding. In other words, a older person with hearing weakness may hear the CH in a word, such as Chute Up, and think that someone is telling them to shut-up.

The CH becomes distorted. Those with extreme hearing difficulties can learn to recognise signs and body languages to help them relate. Some people with partial deafness can also benefit from hearing aids, or assistive listening devices to boost their hearing.

These are all signs of natural healthy aging, yet in some aging signs are less natural. For instance, if you unfortunate enough to contract lung cancer because of a history of smoking, or being around second-hand smoke, then the cause is not what nature intended.

As you grow older your, weight changes as well, more so if you have a family history of obesity. Your body fat starts to change up to 30% by the time you reach age 40. These and other changes of aging affect the body noticably more around this age as it is usually about this age wrinkles start appearing and more other natural aging signs occur.
