What we eat has a huge affect on the aging process and our health. For example someone's body will produce a huge amount of insulin the more refined carbs that they eat. What happens is cells become more insulin resistant. This is the beginning of diabetes.

Then your body continues to pour out out more insulin, the glucose does not get turned into fat as fast because of the resistance and the sugar will stay in the blood stream.
When this happens a person gets tired more because their cells mitochondria doesnt get energy. The reason why sugar floating around the blood stream is unhealthy is because the sugar will attach itself to a protein and form a new molecule, called AGE (Advanced Glycosylation End products).

What Age does is wreak destruction in your body in many ways. To give you a few examples, it can attach itself to cells and cause destruction. It can negatively affect enzymes that produce antioxidants that fight off free radicals as well as affect your skin, cells, blood vessels and your skeleton system.

So keeping blood sugar at a normal level (you do this by gradually giving your body sugar rather than all at once) is a extremely important anti aging formula and will help your health, the aging process and how you feel.
Next I want to talk about free radicals and how you can stop them. A free radical is a molecule that does not have a even number of electrons so it become unstable. This molecule than searches for a electron it can steal, so that it can become stable.

Then that other molecule is unstable so it tries to steal a electron, so its sort of like a snowball going down a hill. You may be wondering how does this affect someone's health and aging? Say the free radical affects the DNA of a cell. Then when the cell replicates (which it does a lot) it is damaged. The end result can be wrinkles, saggy skin even some serious health problems and ailments.

One idea to eliminate free radicals is not to eat anything. The theory is that if you eat less calories you burn less fuel and create less free radicals. Some tests shows it works with lab rats, of course you might be miserable, and its very difficult to do.

The next idea (which I think is 100 times better) is just to consume a lot more antioxidants. Antioxidants fight free radicals because they give the radical a extra electron which its seeking.
