Depending on the budget, Bathroom remodeling can be done in various ways. Every store selling home related items usually has sections dedicated to bathrooms. From small things like bathroom trays, brush holders to large bath tubs or shower sets, one can find a variety of things for use in a bathroom. Fancy soap cases, liquid soap dispensers, kid"s bathroom kits and various electronic bathroom gadgets are sure to catch your eyes. Manufacturers usually use ceramic, glass and plastic to make these wares. If you can spend some more money, you can also get a toothbrush or a mug for your children with Walt Disney characters like Mickey Mouse printed on it.

Walls of a bathroom are also important to keep a house disease free. Tiled walls are easy to clean and don"t leak or seep water unlike a painted wall. Choose tiles which are plain and hence are easy to clean. They also dry easily. You can also mix and match tiles and paint. For instance, the walls near your bathtub or the shower can be tiles because they get wet almost every day. Walls which usually remain dry can be painted. Select mostly light colors while painting the walls. You can have a corner or half of wall painted in bright color to match the furniture inside the bathroom. If you are remodeling the entire house, then you can select colors matching with the wall colors of the rest of your house.

Like wooden doors, wooden furniture inside a bathroom is also getting out of fashion. Because wood slowly rots in continuous touch with water and also because of cost considerations, home owners have slowly shifted choices to plastic ready to use bathroom cabinets. You can keep your bathroom cleaning brushes, toilet paper, soaps, etc. in these cabinets. If you have a big bathroom, you can store the dry corner to store extra towels. Here you can make shelves of marble or stone to keep things in various compartments.

Toilet paper holders too are available in various varieties. Cheap holders are usually of plastic. However, they are not as strong as steel ones. Also they are difficult to clean at times. Not using them with care can result in them bending and eventually breaking. On other hand if you choose a very cheap steel variety, they might get rusted. Fit holders such that they are easy to reach when required. Also a toilet paper holder should be easy to use while placing a new paper roll. Some holders have space to keep an extra roll.

Hygiene is as important as beauty and should not be ignored .Hence give same importance to the bathroom as you give to a living room or the bed room in your home improvement plan.
