The way to prevent a fire or fires in your house is to watch what you are doing. A fire can be caused at any time whether it is by cooking, wiring, candles, matches, lighters, or something laying on a cord. Don't lay things on the floor like clothes, paper, plastic, or anything that can cause a fire in your home. Keep everything away from the plug-ins because that is a fire hazard, and it can cause your things to go up in flames. It can cause your house to start on fire, and it can burn to the ground or burn up parts or half of it.

Fire damage can cost billions of dollars due to everything that got damaged or ruined in the fire. Fires can cause fire damage and smoke damage that can be on every floor, inside the wall, and can char the wood. To prevent fire damage to your house, you can smoke outside so it won't fall on the floor and catch something on fire. The cherry can fall off the cigarette and fall on the carpet, or you can fall asleep with a cigarette in your hand. Watch how you are cooking whether it is with oil or not, and be careful of the juices off the meat that can splatter everywhere and cause a fire.

If a fire starts on the burner, turn it off and pour salt on it to put it out so it will not cause damage. Keep fryers or anything that uses oil in it from plug-ins and cords because the oil can cause a fire. Watch it when you light a candle because it can fall on the floor or it can fall over. Also put it in the middle of the table so it will not fall. Don't put it near something flammable or anything for that matter because it can light it on fire and cause fire damage to your house and your stuff. If you use a space heater in your house, put it in the middle of your table so it will not get knocked off.

Keep it away from everything because it will cause it to get hot and start on fire. Keep kids away from it because it can burn them, and they can knock it over. Fire damage can be very hard to clean up, and you will spend a lot of money to replace everything that is damaged. Make sure all the wires are right, and have them checked out if you think something is wrong or if too many things are hooked up to one fuse because that can cause a fire. It can also cause burn marks to the wall and in the walls, too.
