How To Plan Your Disney Vacation

By:

Planning a Disney Vacation? There are definitely ways to make it even more fun for the whole family. Everyone is excited at the beginning of a Disney trip. They do not realize what they will go through when their kids are screaming and crying wanting to go home because they are overtired. All of these theatrics can be avoided with just a tiny bit of planning. And here are the secrets that no one tells you:

1) If at all possible do not plan a Disney trip over the summer. Why? Because it can get up to one hundred degrees and while you are waiting on impossibly long lines your children will forget how grateful they are to you for this wondrous vacation.

2) Get an early start. If you are the first to arrive you can get a fast pass. Why is this important? It gives you a designated time to get on your first ride. No waiting in line.

3) Bring your own bottled water. You are allowed to bring food into the Disney parks. Do not get met wrong. You will still shell out cash for Disney ice cream and treats but if the kids are hungry and there is a long line for the snack cart you can keep the natives from getting too restless with the treats in your bag.

4) Make your dinner reservations and lunch reservations early, especially if you are dining at one of the Epcot pavillions. They can get booked up fast and the last thing you want when your kids are tired and starving is to be turned back from restaurant after restaurant.

5) If half the family likes roller coasters and the other half prefers some calmer attractions split up. That way you do not have tons of down time while the family waits.

6) If you have the extra cash, do a Disney tour. You will get a personal tour guide who knows the park schedule. She will baby sit your kids if there is a ride that you want to go on that they can't and she will be able to guide you to which rides have the shortest lines.

7) Plan MGM for your last day. Do Disney and Epcot first. They take the longest amount of time to get through.

8) If you have extra time, consider the Disney waterpark. The kids will love it and it is absolutely perfect if you do have to go to Florida during the summer.

These are just a few things that you can do to take the stress out of your Disney vacation and make sure that your whole family has fun.
