How To Plan A Smooth And Stress-free Office Relocation

If possible try to plan your moving day on a Saturday or Sunday so as to minimise impact on business hours and allow for some downtime while the systems are being re-assembled. You will also need to settle any final bills associated with the building and inform your internet provider or IT company about the new site.

When planning for the actual moving day ensure there are plenty of storage boxes for everything to be packed into and label each one clearly. Take extra care when packing electrical items and use extra protection such as bubble wrap or card. Choosing the right removal company is paramount, as you want the best service possible. Some companies will also offer storage facilities in the event that the transfer cannot take place in one day so it is worth conducting a little research and gathering quotes before you book anything.
