-You must go for a computerized pool cover pump control. This does not require you to operate the pump manually whenever water gathers over the cover but it will detect the water automatically. Computerized controls commonly check for water accumulation every 2.5 minutes.
-Go for strong power electric cord.
-While choosing strainer base you must go for a wide one. Wide strainer base is very effective and helps maintaining debris and waste away thus not allowing it to get stuck in the pump and affect its performance negatively. It will help sustain the pump straight.
