How To Outsource Research Tasks

Essentially lots of individuals happen to be returning to me and saying, Tyrone, Im wanting to setup a method where I can get my virtual assistant or my virtual staff so as to research on specific topics and so so on and its actually quite easy to do. The only thing you need is to make certain you have enough right system. What exactly I would like to share with you today is how to undertake that then how I go about setting all this up. Fairly recently, I had lots of individuals who had been doing a lot of work for me and getting a lot of research done for my niche selection topics. Now, what Im talking about that's the niche duel challenge that Im running currently with Pat Flynn. Then, it requires some time for it to undergo and so find the correct niche markets then to find the appropriate products that will suit what were currently doing for our projects. So I outsource all that research tasks and so all that type of specialized niche selection and so so on. Then to undertake that properly and to perform that correctly is firstly I have to get them to understand exactly what I want.



I try to have all the information that I have in my head and put it into a video tutorial or into a document to enable them to understand specifically step-by-step what to complete. And so the very first thing You should do is to create a simple video recording. Likely a maximum of 5 minutes and you can use a really good software called Jing. Or if you dont have Jing then you dont want to download it, its free, you can use Screenr.com which is also free online screen capturing software and screen capture exactly what you want her to perform. Thus lets just take by way of example, I wanted my virtual assistant to try and do a research task on Clickbank to find out which markets would be viable to market and so promote products in a niche area which is untapped. Then, it wasnt that difficult. All I had to is just get my Screenflow software on and so I said look, please go here, click there, go here then primarily step by step process of what she needs to try to to. And so she needs to undertake 20, 30 of these kind of researched topics then obviously she knows the procedure thats going all in there. And thats how I begin recommending her to do research topics.



Or, if she needs to accomplish something that I think that shes quite intuitive then if you provide them the responsiblity too, I'd just say look to do research topic on say this niche area, please go out and find 10 top topics that you would want to consider and so also potentially producing content. This is a two-hour time frame that you have for getting this completed and so go ahead then do it. Now, notice how I said two hours or time frame limit. If you dont specify that, you simply are providing them with a legal limit as a way to say look, Im going to go out there then just spend as many hours as I'd like. Hopefully they dont do that but if you dont restrict the time, it really doesnt know how long they should be spending on a task. By forcing a time say 2 hours, 1 hour for research topic then it permits them to think okay, Ive got to specify within say 2 hours, I have to spend 20 minutes or say 12 minutes on each topic researched and thats it.



And so thats how I begin researching topics or researching tasks. The other thing I just want to bring up as well, too is I dont recommend sending these materials via email to them because its tough to keep an eye on whats taking place. As Ive recommended numerous times to a lot of my students and also to a lot of my members is by using a project management system. A project management system allows you to check all the things that are happening inside your project. Thus project management system I suggest is using ActiveCollab. And so inside ActiveCollab, you can do, you can set it all up to be able to setup your projects, setup your milestones and so the tickets which is generally to-do tasks. If you dont have ActiveCollab, try BasecampHQ as well. Thats an excellent piece of project management software.



And so thats fundamentally how you start setting up your research tasks to your virtual assistant then just make sure that they understand what you want to do because the more that you specify then the more youre clear about the description and the tasks that youve got available, the quicker you get it done.
