How To Maintain Cold Air Inside A Refrigerator

4. Do not store hot or warm food. Let it cool down first before storing it in your fridge. This might not cause cold air to escape from the fridge but this will increase temperature inside. Because of that, the machine will consume more energy to lower down the temperature.

5. Clean the coils at the back of the fridge regularly. Collected dust and cobwebs might block the exhaust coils and prevent hot air from being released from the machine. This will help regulate temperature inside. You can use a shop vacuum to get rid of debris from the coils. It is advisable to clean the coils semi-annually.
