How To Live Where You Love

By:

So many people dream of their 'place in the sun' when they retire - and still others aren't prepared to wait till then.

The world is far smaller than it used to be these days - opportunities to travel and experience different lifestyles are within the reach of many more of us. Despite the credit crunch cheap flights are still available to canny searchers, and the media brings increasingly rich information into our lives daily, opening our minds and horizons to the myriad possibilities potentially open to us. Perhaps you have worked hard for years, creating a career and standard of living not far from the place you were born, only to visit somewhere on holiday and think, not just 'that was nice', but 'why does it have to be just two weeks?'

For many people that wistful dream will remain just that. The familiar offers great security and comfort after all, and the sunshine and beaches are there just a few hours flight away whenever you need them.

Others are more financially secure and can stake out their own piece of paradise in the place they love, investing in a holiday or retirement property, and keeping one foot firmly in the place they still think of as home.

Still others are caught in the middle - want to leave, escape the rat race, but not in a position to retire from work with sufficient income to do so - perhaps victims of the credit crunch's appalling impact on pension funds and investments. Feeling trapped by your work and lifestyle is truly one of the most depressing and demotivating situations to be in. The longer it goes on the more powerless to change things you come to feel, and the less able to step back from your circumstances and proactively analyse how to break free of them.

It's easy to forget that we are incredibly lucky, to live in a time when the information and technology marketplace is totally global. Where you live is no longer the burning issue in business - so that can become a decision for YOU and rather than your employer.

Many people in the generation approaching retirement mistakenly think the internet revolution has passed them by - but this is simply not the case, if you can read a web page and send an email, you CAN create a simple online business that can be operated from anywhere in the world, using your passion and life experience to help other people in their lives. It is that knowledge and experience - about whatever inspires you personally - that is unique and precious, and exactly what someone, somewhere in the big wide googlesphere is looking for right now.

Are you ready to unlock that passion, and open your mind to the most creative and fulfilling way to achieve your dreams and live how and where you love?
