Make sure that they are tight and secure, but do not tighten them so far that the drill slips and ruins the head of the screw.

Step Four: Testing The Roller The last thing that you want to do is to make sure that your wooden blinds actually work the way that they were intended to work. You should try putting them up and down a number of times. Turn the adjustment rod to shift the individual pieces of the blinds. If they fit in your window and help to block the light, you are all done with the project. If there is a problem, you just need to make the necessary adjustments at this time.
