How To Install A Fax Cartridge

When it comes time to make the switch, locate where on the machine the cartridge is being held. While every fax machine is different, often the compartment is found on the side or the back of the machine.

Open it and remove the old cartridge. It is important to wear an apron and role up sleeves while attempting this part of the replacement process since often ink and toner end up spilling during the switch. Remove the tape that is on the new cartridge before slipping it into place. When the tape is not removed, it will not work. Many people forget this step and then become frustrated when it doesn't work. Slip it into place and close the door tightly. Often it will take a few seconds to initialize and then the job is done!
