How To Incorporate Your Colour Scheme Into Your Wedding Shoes

By:

Your wedding day is one day which you will plan more than any other in your life. You will spend a lot of time choosing your details, venue and of course your dress but before you can do any of this you need to consider what your colour scheme is.

Choosing your colour scheme must be done with care to consider so many factors. Firstly both your and your groom must like the colour you choose, you may really set your hopes on purple but perhaps your man really dislikes it and will not wear a purple cravat or waistcoat.

Secondly consider your proposed venue. You can choose chair covers to incorporate you scheme but you cannot change the decor. If you wanted tiffany blue but the venue has gold wallpaper this also will maybe not work.

Your flowers need consideration. Nearly all colours can be adopted by flowers but not all flowers come in every colour. Consider your choice of flower - is it available in your colour of choice? Think what is more important to you, your colour scheme or your flowers? Since they can sometimes set the tone for the whole day you need to make sure they are right.

Finally however here are some accessories you can control. Your bridesmaids dresses are an area where you have free reign with colour - although do bear in mind your maids personal preference and what colour suits their skin tone and hair colour.

Your shoes can be any colour you wish, although traditionally they match the brides dress, more and more brides are opting for a coloured shoe to match the theme of the wedding and to tie together the palette perfectly!
