How To Improve Your Home Security With Day Night Outdoor Surveillance Cameras

By:

Day-night outdoor surveillance cameras are able to see what is going on, even in total darkness. Seeing what lurks in the dark can save your life, as one woman discovered. These surveillance cameras are all weatherproof and have built in illuminators for night vision making them great for home security.

Since her husband's death, Marion had been living alone and managing well, but a recent rash of home invasions in her neighborhood was beginning to make her nervous. She installed three day-night outdoor surveillance cameras on the outside of her home as an extra security measure.

The area was poorly lit but Marion was amazed at the clear images that the cameras produced even in complete darkness with IR capability. Being able to see what was around her house made Marion feel more comfortable living alone especially with so many home invasions going on.

One night Marion woke to get a glass of water. She paused to quickly look at the outdoor day/night surveillance cam images on her monitor as she often did. To her horror she saw two men moving stealthily along the side of her house. They were concealed by the darkness but fully visible to her day-night outdoor surveillance cameras. She quickly locked herself in the bedroom and called 911. The men fled as soon as the police arrived, leaving behind a length of rope and roll of duct tape on the ground underneath one of the windows.

A subsequent search of the area uncovered a handgun that had been hastily thrown into some bushes. It was obvious that the rope and duct tape had been intended for use on Marion-possibly the gun too. She shuddered to think what might have happened if she had not been able to see what the darkness concealed with her outdoor cameras. Fingerprints on the handgun led police to a known felon who was eventually apprehended and charged with several home invasions.

The uses for a surveillance camera are endless. There are home, office and business applications. Undercover law enforcers and government agencies have been using them for years but now they are priced so low that anyone can get one. And easy to use? You bet.

A security camera can be an even better deterrent than a burglar alarm or a security guard. A camera can be used to identify the bad guys catching them red handed indoors or outdoors.

Can you use a security camera for home, office or business? You actually can't afford to not have one! Find out what is going on when you are not there at home, your business or office from anywhere in the world.
