How To Have Success With Social Media!

Everyone has been talking about Social Media and how it is the number
one way to get your online home business built for success.

Your told to make a Blog, join Twitter and Facebook. So you go have
this killer blog designed just for you, then you have a great bio on
Twitter and Facebook, but then what?

In order to really become successful using social media, you need to
interact with people. That does not mean just once in a while. You
have to make your presence know on these sites. Visit each site and
interact at least four or five times a week.

Blog Posting

When you start posting content on your blog, you need to have it be
something that is of good value for people. If it is just stuff you
throw out there to say, Yeah I have a blog, it will just sit there and
not serve its purpose.

Put content on that will make your visitors return often to see what
you have posted. You need to post at least four posts, four times a
week and let people know that you just posted something really cool.
You can do this by Pinging or Social Bookmarking your post. You can
also put it as a post on Twitter or Facebook with a link for people to
go to your blog and check it out.

Facebook

Facebook is a more people oriented site, rather than a business site.
However you can let people know about your business once you get known
and they start asking. You can also start a group for people to join.
In the group you want to constantly have good content that people are
wanting to know about for their online home business.

Never just push you business or Facebook will kick you off, especially
if people start blocking you saying your content is spam. Just be
real, be yourself and interact almost everyday. You can post things
that you just did that day, or a cool vacation you went on, a fishing
trip, a golf game, (that hole in one)! Always add tons of pictures,
people love seeing pictures and it also shows that you are human.

Twitter

You can have your Twitter page built looking just like your Blog if
you want, which by the way is a great idea. If you have some kind of
theme that you like, maybe your a skier, a horse rider, a climber, or
even like to go fishing. Having your Blog and Twitter page look alike
will get people to know you better and shows them youre a leader in
your industry.

When posting on Twitter, you can only use 140 characters. Always post
good content, before you start posting about your business. If you
post nothing but your business, you will be ignored. Post things that
you just did today, or maybe some famous quotes. If you like Zig
Ziglar or Donald Trump, post some quotes from them. If people like
your posts they will RT you, which means Re-Tweet. This is how you
can start interacting with people and eventually they may become
curious about what you do for a living, what kind of online home
business you may be in. This is when you can tell them about your
success in your business and what it is all about.

By just being yourself and having fun on these social media sites you
will become known as an authority in your online home business,
therefore making it a success.
