How To Have Fun Making Pottery

If you want to learn how to mold clay and make pottery, you can go to classes or you can pay a pottery wheel and do it in your home. It is a good way to get you relaxed, it also relieves stress, and it is fun to do in your spare time. All you need to the wheel, clay, water, and your hands. Make sure you flip on the switch when you are ready to begin, it will be messy but it will be fun. You can also mold the clay by hand, show your kids how to do it and let them be creative with their clay, let them make their own works of art. Kids can amaze you on what they can make, it doesn't take them long to get the hang of it and they can get really good at it too.

When you use a pottery wheel, you need to put the clay on the wheel, how ever much you want and add the water to it. It will soften the clay up so it can be molded into whatever you want to make. Then turn on the switch on low or medium and have the clay go through your hands, make sure your hands are wet too because it will mess up on you. Have a bowl of water right next to your so you can dip your hands in it when you need more water, also have another bowl by you for if the clay mess up and you can put it in there an don't on the floor and so you don't have to get up a lot.

Wear some old clothes so you don't ruin your good ones by getting clay on them, put a cover on the floor underneath the wheel and you so the mess will get in that not everything else. You can make bowls, vases, and lots more. When you do it by hand you can make plates, cups, scalper of people, animals, and anything you want to make, you can do it, the possibilities are endless. You can have you home fill of your art, you can design you house with them, take them to school, or do them in class. You can have your own business in your house do this, people will pay them they like those kinds of things, have your family or friends help you make this thing you can make a pretty good amount of money on this stuff.
