How To Get Top Search Engine Placement

By:

Many would like to get top search engine placement for their keyphrases, but there's only one sure way to obtain this: Target a long tail keyword per page and try to focus on it in a moderate way. It may seem strange first, because I am telling that only one key phrase will do and then I don't insist on an aggressive focus on it. I explain why I tell you so.

What's Search Engine Placement

Well, if you pay a search engine that works on a bidding basis and pay more than your competitors, you will definitely be positioned on top of all other people in result pages. This is not what I mean. I want you to be placed on top of other results without paying search engines! Such results is called organic search engine placement.

You are being positioned among the top search results for the keywords they use. So, pick up a popular keyphrase with three words or more that precisely explains what you want to attract people for. This will be your long tail keyword. Write about it on one page as a blog post, article, etc. Then, optimize it for that single phrase and you are done with on-page optimization work.

The next step will be performed outside your site. Write content for other sites and have them published over there. Comment on other blogs' posts. Do any kind of content creation you want, but remember to leave your long tail keyword as anchor text in them. By anchor text, I mean using your key phrases within your text links. Top search engine placement is largely dependent on the quality and quantity of such links.

Of course, the more sites from different IPs, the better link popularity you will build. The more relevant pages post links to your site, the higher score you will get. Choose the top sites in your niche and try to get links from them. This can be done by offering articles to them, paying them for advertisement while your anchor text in included in it. And any other legitimate ways you find.

The Concept of One Long Tail Keyword

The trick is here. You are not going to use more than one keyphrase per page. Try to create your content around one central topic. Your primary focus should be that long tail keyword you've chosen. Using other phrases as secondary is inevitable, but don't concentrate on them and let all your laser beam focus points to your long tail keyword.

While writing about one topic, as long as your focal point is at the tip of your pen and is felt at every step, willingly or unwillingly, you are focused on your primary keyword. Your attention will not be deviated from the main route on which you walk. This helps you write a long-tail keyword-oriented content. This cannot go wrong.

Once you combined such on-page optimization with off-page optimization, the link popularity of your site is increased and lots of them point to this page with the same long phrase you have optimized your page for. The result will be phenomenal. You will love the method. To have several pages like that at your site, you can begin with the most important pages, the ones that are meant to help you with top search engine placement.
