A simple way of getting rid of the smell of pet urine from your carpet is by sprinkling the urinated spot on the carpet with some baking soda. Then, use a stiff brush and gently scrub the spot. After that, just blot up the moisture by using some paper towels. Then just add some more baking powder on the area and leave it like that for at least 8 to 10 hours. Then vacuum the spot and you will find that you would have got rid of that awful urine smell.
