It's hard to make absolute statements in regards to relationships. There are always times when the absolute thing to do just isn't the thing that you want to do. For example, a lot of people like to live by the statement, if it was meant to be it would last. And they use that kind of statement to support the idea that all break ups are meant to be and that the only thing you can try to do is to get over it. What if that is NOT the case? Sometimes, the best way to get over a break up is to win him back!

Think about it like this. Do you want to have to get back out into the dating scene, going to clubs and bars and dealing with the typical guys that come on to you? And then you have to try and weed out the ones who aren't worth a minute of your time and try and find the select few that are. That's not a lot of fun and if you already know that there was something there in the relationship that just ended, you might be better of trying to get your ex boyfriend back then you would be going out and trying to meet someone new.

Of course, there are those relationships that truly are meant to end. IF you were with a guy who was abusive, just did not care an ounce about you, or anything like that... then you need to get over and done with him as soon as you can. On the other hand, if it was just the usual relationship rifts that led to your break up... you may want to reconsider the possibility that he was someone that you could work things out with.

Do You Miss Him?

Our emotions are signals that we are left to our own devices to interpret and sometimes we get them right and sometimes we get them wrong. If you find yourself missing your ex boyfriend a lot and thinking about him all of the time, then that may be a signal that you should try and get back together. There are always rifts that happen in relationships and sometimes the best thing to do is to not get away from them, but to try and work things out with them. And if you are missing your ex boyfriend, then that just might be the sign that you need to tell you what you have to do.

Women get to have the rare luxury of being in positions of power when it comes to breaking up. More often than not, the guy will go back to an ex girlfriend of his, if given the chance. So, even if you think that maybe he would not even consider the idea, you might be surprised to find out that he probably would. All you need to do is to learn how to make it seem like the most attractive option to him.
