At the same time you may also need to prove that you have up-to-date vaccinations depending upon where you are working as well.

Next you need to write up your CV. The majority of jobs will require an online application and therefore you don't necessarily need to provide a resume. However, if you do you will prove your professionalism and you may be able to include additional details that you cannot add within your application.

Now you need to start looking around for relevant working opportunities. When doing this there are several different places you could look. One would be to go to a specialist recruiters who will interview you and then help you to locate jobs within the industry that are appropriate given your level of education and experience.

You can also find oil rig jobs yourself by searching around on the Internet. Make sure that you spend time on specialist recruitment websites and also by going direct to companies who operate offshore facilities.
