How To Fund Your Mlm With Affiliate Sales

By:

First of all, I want to say that I love free marketing strategies. I think they produce great leads, and I dont have to spend a lot of money to make it work.

However, in order to scale up your business and your MLM residual income, it becomes almost essential to use some paid marketing strategies. Part of the reason is that paid strategies bring in leads faster.

Another reason is that paid strategies can be scaled up easier. Throw more money at it, bring in more leads!

Plus, in order to maintain a multi-million dollar a year business, you will need a very steady lead flow from several sources. You literally dont have time to go out and work 10 different strategies every day, but if you spend money, you can have your lead sources working for you on autopilot.

Of course there are exceptions to this, and some people make the big bucks without using paid strategies. However, the vast majority of the uber-rich internet marketers spend $10,000+ in advertising every month.

But, they didnt have $10,000 to spend a month when they started, and odds are you dont either.

Lets crunch some numbers. As an example, lets assume you receive $50 in commission every time you recruit a new person. But, you realize that youll have to spend about $100 in paid advertising for every new sign-up. Obviously that wont work.

So now, we have to find a way to be able to afford building your MLM.

An easy way is to plug a product into your sales funnel. In between your lead capture page (with a free giveaway) and your MLM page, find a useful MLM product that you can sell for less than $30. You can sell to people who come through your funnel without actively promoting the product you want to sell.

Another one of my favorite ways to make some affiliate money is to write a product review, something like Aweber or Hostgator, and then offer to sell it to your list. You can even offer some kind of small bonus to anyone who buys it through you. Maybe youll send them an ebook if they buy it.

Now, lets say that you make $60 from selling the product in your funnel, and $50 from the product review to your list. Add in the $50 youll make from a sign-up, and now you have $160 to play with.

Instead of trying to get a sign-up after spending $100, now you can spend up to $160 to get a sign-up and make $60 profit! Plus, you now have a sign-up in your MLM.

Remember in our first example you spent $100, but here you spend $160 and its money that didnt come out of your pocket, but rather from sales you made. That $160 will generate more leads to go through your funnel, and that will generate more product sales.

Then next month, you might have $300 to spend on advertising because of the increased sales. Then you might be able to sign up 2 people into your MLM and make $100 profit!

Take that profit and either pay the bills, OR put it back into your advertising fund.

Even though you are spending money on advertisements and selling affiliate products, youre still building your long-term residual income through your MLM company.

Hmmm. Seems like we have a formula here!

Its simple math. You figure out how much you can spend to get a sign-up into your MLM. I make a rule that all affiliate sales I make go back into advertising for my MLM.

Then, as I make sales, I can put more and more into advertising. Thats how the big dudes get up to $10,000 a month in ads and earn 7 figures every year!
