How To Free Yourself Of The Anchors That Keep You From Internet Network Marketing Success

By:

This is an important message for everybody, whether youre in network marketing or not! Everyone is looking for success, but it seems to be more elusive for some than others.

First lets take a look at some traits of successful online marketers. One thing I always notice about them is how relaxed and laid back they seem. Ive never seen any frantic or desperate millionaires in network marketing.

My favorite example is probably Mike Dillard. He almost has an attitude of screw everything else and go work your butt off until youre successful and prove everybody else wrong.

He doesnt let anything else around him anchor him down because he knows that he himself is the key to his success.

So what does hold people back from hitting it big?

If youve seen one of my favorite movies, The Last Samurai, there is a scene I really like that can give us an answer.

In one part, Tom Cruises character is learning how to be a better sword fighter. One of the Samurai watching him says that his problem is too many minds. In other words, he is paying attention to too many different things going on around him, and not just sword fighting.

Isnt that a great lesson for us to learn as well?

What are we worried about on a daily basis with our business? Ive seen people reluctant to take the next step because they are afraid to write blog posts or make videos because they are worried what others might think.

Who cares?! This business is about you learning how to do things right. Its about you taking action today. If you worry about those types of things, ask yourself, does it really matter?

If you put out a terrible blog post today, how many people will even see it? If you make a video and send it out, whats it to you if some people dont like it? You could have 10 million people hate you and youd still have enough people to work with to be a multi-millionaire.

A few weeks ago, I felt slighted when someone who I felt would join under me didnt. I thought I had done the work and deserved the commission. Then I remembered, whether this one single person joined my business didnt matter. It wouldnt make or break my business. Just let it go! I worried about it too much and it affected my work.

There are so many anchors around us. Pay attention for a few days to the things we worry about. Things like what others will think of us, or what if nobody joins, or even getting beat up about why that person is having success and Im not. Figure out what's pulling us down, distracting us, or keeping us from doing everything in our power to be successful, and get rid of those things!

Just worry about yourself. I dont mean to isolate yourself and live on an internet island, but dont worry when someone says something nasty or if someone jumps ship to join somebody else.

Worry about making yourself the best dang marketer there is! Worry about working your butt off until youve accomplished what you want! Youll never even meet the vast majority of people you come in contact with, so why spend your day worrying what they think of you?

One thing that helps me is to keep a clear mind of what Im trying to accomplish. I have my goals and my vision in my head, and I envision myself accomplishing them. Part of that vision is definitely not all the things that can drag me down around me.

Associate yourself with people around you who are willing to build you up and support you. They will help you focus on the positive and less on the negative around you!

Basically, the point is that success is solely on YOUR shoulders. Its YOUR success, YOUR business, YOUR life, and you are in control of it.
