How To Find Success And Motivation With Your Fitness By Following These Six Rules

One of the fitness magazines my husband subscribes to is Men's Fitness, which is for the most part a good one. It's not really the workouts that are good, but when they interview famous celebrities and business guys to talk about what fitness means in their lives. Even though I personally only train women, it's great because they are like case studies of success and motivation too.

I am going to alter what LL Cool J uses for himself and help you look for ways to get the motivation you need to succeed for the long term.

The first thing revolves around balance. It's not just about balance in life, but balance in workouts too. Most women like to really concentrate on where they want to lose fat the most. However, you need balance and to exercise your body everywhere to really lose fat. And that is why your exercise routines have to be built on a total body foundation.

Second, you have to celebrate your success. What makes this hard to do is either not celebrating because you feel like it will just make you fat or celebrating too much and breaking habits that you've worked really hard to set. It's highly encouraged that you keep your favorite foods, no matter what they are, in your life, it keeps you sane and happy. It's highly important that you share your success with all of your family and friends too as you can easily become the catalyst for somebody else to make a great change in their life.

Third, always be learning. When it comes to learning, it really helps to have a trainer on your team or being part of some online community where you can access new information. It's the best when you get to have fun with new workouts or recipes and foods to try. That will keep you moving forward and always progressing.

The fourth thing you need is to let things happen. These days we are promised immediate results so often that we expect them to be delivered. The key to real long term success is to just give it some time and enjoy the process and let the great results just come. When you surrender to something that works, results will happen guaranteed.

Fifth, it's good to force yourself to do something when you really don't want to do it. No matter how much you love fitness, there will be times when you really don't want to get off your butt and exercise. Maybe it's when you want to eat or drink something you know you shouldn't. Expense the will power and force yourself to do the thing you really don't want to. This is important and helps you build stronger character as well.

Sixth, one goal is never enough. It's so important to be driven by the goals you set for yourself, but most women only end up setting one goal. Learn to keep setting goals and keep pushing yourself. As you keep setting and hitting new goals, you will end up with a body that will shock you and you'll be so happy you did. It's always fun to see how far you can go with your weight training for women and keep getting results.
