Busted pipes can do a lot of damage to a home. It can cause water damage in areas like your bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, or any part in your house. You will have water everywhere, you'll get wet, and there will be a mess that can be hard to clean up. It can flood your home, your basement, and it can flood your yard. The water can be deep enough to cover just your feet or reach up to your knees depending on how bad the damage is and where the busted pipe is. It can be from your hot water heater, dishwasher, and your washer.

Busted water pipes can be caused by hurricanes, the cold, if the pipes get too old, and earthquakes. They can be little or big, but even a little bust can be very bad and cause a lot of damage. When water gets on furniture, carpets, walls, floors, or in any woodwork, it will absorb into them and the damage will set in. If it is cold outside like below freezing point, a pipe can bust and you might not even know it. It can be under your house, in the walls, or even under the ground.

If you have a busted water pipe, you need to find where it is. When you find it, turn off the water so the water will stop running. You will have to replace the pipes and seal them good and tight, and you have to let it dry before you turn the water back on. If you don't let it dry, it can come loose or pop off the connector and spray water everywhere. It is also the same thing if you replace one of your appliances like your water heater for instance. If the pipes bust off, it could knock you through a wall or knock you down.

When the water is turned on, it has a lot of pressure to go through the pipes and if it is not done right, it will do a lot of damage. If a pipe has a leak in it and it sets for a long time, the pipe will bust in half or it will bust to a good enough size. As it leaks water, mold will grow wherever the leak is. You can also know if you have a busted pipe when the water pressure will be low or barely none at all. It can make the ground very soft and if you have a trailer, it can sink it down into the mud.
