You can always play with color and size in the winter season because, if you think about it, these are the only two options you have. You can sport over-sized poncho jackets with fur. Accessories are curial to your style this winter. You can wear a statement necklace over top a thick blazer or jacket, you can pick different types of boots too; booties, cowboy boots, knee-high or mid-calf boots. Remember to mix and match with your outfit.

Dresses can definitely be worn in the winter season. Try wearing a colorful vintage dress with a black or brown blazer or even faux leather or leather biker jackets; this look is all over the runways too and celebrities like Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Emma Watson have been seen pulling the look.

Try to cover you head to be warm; wear a fashionable wool toque/beanie that will keep you warm and snug. You can also cover your hands wearing stylish and trendy leather gloves or simply think dark mittens. You dont have to wear really think-layered gloves that the people in extreme cold weather like Alaska are seen weaning.

Knit tights and socks will keep you warm yet stylish and trendy; look for real cashmere. It could be a bit expensive but it is definitely worth every dime. Find a fashionable scarf or shawl that will keep you warm outside but you can always take off indoors before you start sweating.
