If you have children, you must speak in your profile. You can mention their age and where they live. You can talk about something specific about them, as:

You should talk about your pets. Most of the time, they are an important part of life, and if you want someone who from reading your profile knows you have pets let them know. Again, this is not something you want to exaggerate.

Obviously, mention any hobbies or activities that you like to engage in. Mention any civic or professional groups you belong.

Always remember to say exactly what you want in a relationship with the ad.

If you are looking for a serious or long-term relationship do not be afraid to say so.

If you are just looking to date around and have no ties do not be afraid to say so. Remember, the goal of the advertisement is to attract the kind of people who want the same things as you.

You don not want someone who is looking for a serious relationship with you that if you are\' not what you want, and vice versa.

Avoid negativity in your ad at all costs! People are tired of the negativity in the world. If people want negativity all they have to do is turn on their TV and watch the news for an hour.

When it comes to sites of meetings online, people are looking optimistic, positive, funny people around. A perfect example of the negativity in an announcement would be: \"Are there any good men left? I believe that all men are nothing but a bunch of liars and cheats. \"But

\" I really cannot stand for the place of women glued to bars and clubs I would give the online dating thing a chance. \"Even if you really feel that way, or think so, instantly delete your profile.

You are going to do yourself a big favor. Another great thing to avoid in your profile are generalities.

Be unique.

Instead of saying \"I love going to the movies\", say: \"My favorite movie is...\" It is my favorite movie. So be specific.

Another example, instead of \"I go out to eat\", use, \"When it comes to eating, I like to go to Freds \'Place. My favorite sandwich there is the Philly Steak. The steak is mouth watering.

They always put a heaping pile of mozzarella on it. The freshly chopped green peppers and onions are perfect in this delicious sandwich.

Do you get the picture? Use your profile to its full potential. Do not be afraid to throw some humor in.

However, only use humor if it is natural to you. Some people just do not have a penchant for humor.. The biggest piece of advice about writing your profile that I can give is just be yourself.
