Bottle cap art is a fantastic way to make the most out of a bottle cap collection that you're not sure what to do with. The type of artwork possible is endless and this project is ideal for kids' craft groups, a camping activity, a rainy day activity, or as a classroom project.

Most people might not give much thought to these little caps but they are becoming a big problem. Overall, ALL types of caps are creating a problem because most of us don't know whether or not they are recyclable. Even if you're like me and don't buy bottled water or beverages in plastic bottles we all have mountains of caps that pass though our hands every day... everything from shampoo bottles to food product lids to soap and detergent containers.

During family reunions, batch gatherings or any other occasions that requires recognitions, you can make something creatively done for the awarding ceremony. Aside from certificates, you can also give badges. Make as many as you can out of old bottle caps! Yes, they are worth keeping too.

Bottle caps, like plastic bottles, are the most thrown away materials that can be found on trash cans and garbage piles. You can collect and clean them. Now that you have these collected craps, learn to pour out your sense of creativity by designing them into badges. You may do a few on your vacant time until another collection of state-of-the-art badges is at hand. By adding ribbons which you can get from unused plastic covers, your home-made badges are now ready to be pinned.

Now, during special awarding ceremonies at home, parlor games or youth gathering formations, you can use them as rewards. Remember that they are mostly kept when discovered that they are made of recycled bottle caps.

The advantage of making such badges lies on the appreciation of your effort while doing the crafts, the availability of materials you are using and the creativity you have applied for the project. In some cases, if your budget is extra, you can add some glitters and stickers to make it more artistic. This materials won't cost as much as buying ready-made badges in stores.
