How To Create A Flash Page For Branding Your Videos

By:

Ok, so assuming that you have branded your video but you havent got an HTML page, so the first thing you will need to do is to find the tool that you had, its called NVU. This is a 2 step process which consists of firstly getting the video onto your page and then get the affiliate link or redirect link that links to your project or other type of opt-in pages onto your page. Before we think about HTML or NVU, you need to find a place to host your video. If you dont host your video onto your own website there are a few options. You could either use Google video/You Tube or any other type of video hosting services, but in this case you will see how to do it through You Tube.

Youll need to go to You Tube.com and create an account. Once you have created your account, click on the account tab and from there you click on upload where you will need to fill in a simple form and upload your video. Once you have done that you will be able to access the embedded code which youll need to copy and paste to your website. Youll then need to get a hold of your affiliate/redirect link. To create your single page website to place the HTML code for the video and affiliate link, youll need to open up NVU.

When you are creating a single page website, generally you are going to want some sort of headline that is catchy, so here is how to do this: first of all, type your headline as you wish into NVU. You can then add a subhead line which is optional. Next, youll need to add in your video code so go ahead and copy and paste that into NVU, followed by your affiliate link. The video code HTML should be entered not in the normal view but in the source view. Now to the affiliate link redirect. The first thing to do is cloak it. So, in this sense youre going to need to create another file another HTML file this will allow other people, when they highlight your link, theyre not going to be able to see your affiliate link, which is important. In NVU, you need to save that page as your secondary page, so click on save and in the page title box that pops up, type in index.html click on ok and then you will need to find that location where you want to save it to and click ok. Then you need to highlight the link, right click and cut then save. Now heres how you create another file. Go back to the folder view and save a notepad file as an .html file. Once you have done that, right click and open it with whichever program you want, here you will see how to do this by using NVU. Youll need to go directly to the source view, pick a spot where its empty and right click on paste and then youll want to paste this exact code then youll need to paste the affiliate link right before the last quotation mark then save. You need to remember what the file name is, so click on it once, then right click and copy then go back to NVU to create a link. So on NVU, go to the middle of the page and type in click here for .. so that people know where to click then highlight it and click on link then right click and paste. The simply click on ok, save and youre done.

When you upload your files, youll need to upload your index file and the affiliate .html file to You Tube or whichever video hosting site you are using.
