How To Clean Patio Furniture?

Housekeeping is not always fun. But if you know just the right tips, you can make it interesting by bragging about your skills or showing your house off. Here are simply and easy tips that you can follow to clean your patio furniture.
Step 1
Prepare a cleaning solution of your own. Mix one tablespoon of a biodegradable detergent or a dishwashing liquid in one quart of warm water. Add one tablespoon of Borax. Shake well to mix and pour the solution into a spray bottle.
Step 2
Generously spray the solution on both sides of the cushions. Make sure you do not leave out any crevice. The more generous you are while spraying the solution, the less work you would have to do in the next steps.
Step 3
Leave the cushions saturated with the cleaning solution for fifteen to twenty minutes. Take them out in the lawn. Turn the water pressure to high and with a garden hose, start washing the solution off the cushions.
With the hose, push out all the dirt and the lather and let the pressure do its job.
Step 4
Leave the cushions to dry. When they are only damp, take them back for further processing.
Step 5
Spray a fabric protector on the damp cushions. This would obviously protect the fabric and also make cleaning a lot easier in future.
Wood
Lets come to the unfinished wooden parts.
Fill a cup with ammonia (household).
Take half a cup of white vinegar.
Add the two in one gallon of water and mix well.
Use this mixture to wipe the wooden parts.
Use a clean moist cloth to wipe of the residue and get a clean, shining picnic table or nay other wooden piece of furniture.
Lawn chairs
To clean your lawn chairs, follow these simple steps:
Take 3/4th of a cup of bleach (household)
Mix one heaped table spoon of detergent in a gallon of water.
Add the bleach and mix well
On a small part of the lawn chair, try a small amount to ensure that the color does not fade away
If the color stays intact, use the prepared solution to wipe the lawn chairs.
This can be done by taking a clean cotton cloth and dipping it in the prepared solution. Use to cloth to rub off the dirt and stains and get clean lawn chairs.
