All you need is to fill up the necessary form with personal information and give the leave the copy of your passport. As usual in a week you will receive a certificate of tax ID appropriation. Also it is possible the purchase of property for general use, means for a few owners. This type of the ownership is fully legal and allows organizing joint ventures with foreign investors. All the owners are provided with the same rights and conditions for its use.

The important fact is that the foreign legal person can purchase the ownership of land in two cases. The first is the purchasing or building the realty for commercial use within the precincts of city. The second one is buying the land outside the city precincts in case of purchasing the realty. In both variants you are not able to buy the lands for non-farming use.

The package of documents needed for completing the purchase of property or land in Ukraine is almost the same than in any other country. It includes tax IDs of the buyer and his family mates, the marriage certificate or certificate of annulment (if such exists), the documented consent of a spouse for purchasing the property and birth certificate of children, if they will be property owners. If the contract is signed by buyer representatives, there must be a notarized power of attorney for signing the document.
