How To Buy A Gift For Someone Who Has Everything

By:

We all have someone in our lives who has everything. Buying a gift for someone who has everything and then some can be very difficult, whether it is a birthday or the holidays. However, there are some things we can consider that can help us get that gift for that lucky someone.

1. Consider The Gift of Your Time

The best gift for someone who has everything is to give a gift of your time. See if there is something you can do for that person. Does he or she need the car washed? Does his or her bedroom need a fresh coat of paint? Does the person need a room renovated? How about doing the dishes for a week? You can also make a meal in their kitchen and serve it yourself.

2. Give Subscriptions or Memberships

Rather than giving a one-time gift to someone, you can give a subscription. Give a gift of subscriptions to his or her favorite magazines, cable TV, newspapers or even at a video rental service. You can even give car insurance or a towing service membership. These are gifts that will be appreciated even by someone who has everything. If the person likes to listen to satellite radio, then get them membership. Or a year's pass to the zoo.

3. Give a Gift of a Night Out

Take him or her out bowling. Go to a nightspot he or she has never been to before. Take that person to the circus. You can even get a limousine service to pick them up for their night out. Take them to the movies and to a fancy dinner. Take them to where they may have never been to before. If they have been to every fancy place you can find, take them to a quaint and eccentric place for a meal they won't forget.

4. Give To A Charity in Their name

This is really a very nice gift for someone who may have all the material comforts in life. Donate to a charity in their name. This would really let them know that you have given very special thought to what you have given them. You can donate to more than one charity if you like. Or you can buy children's books or toys and donate them to a children's cancer ward a t a hospital all in the name of that lucky friend. If they like animals, you can sign-up for them in those special programs that allow people to adopt endangered species that are being taken care of in special animal habitats.

5. Give a Homemade Present

Give your friend a cake you have baked yourself. A hand-painted T-shirt or an embroidered pillow cover that you have lovingly made will make really great gifts. These are things even the richest person on earth can't buy in any store.

A gift need not be expensive to be special. A person who has everything does not need another expensive trinket or gadget. Give that person something unique and something only you can give. A gift of your caring, your time, or a gift you have devoted your best efforts to, are gifts that no one else can give.
