a) Oatmeal - it takes a long time for the body to break down the fat soluble fiber present in oatmeal. So you will not feel hunger pangs frequently.

b) Soy milk - it contains a lot calcium, which is good for boosting metabolism.

c) Cinnamon - this is helpful for maintaining sugar level in the bloodstream, thus having a positive effect on metabolism. Add a tiny bit of cinnamon in your daily cup of tea.

d) Grapefruit - this is another very good food for maintaining high energy and boosting metabolism.

e) Almonds - these are good if you consume them in little amounts. Don't eat a lot of almonds as they are high in calories.

f) Apples - they are tasty and more importantly fill up your stomach for a long time.

If you want to enjoy higher metabolism and permanent weight loss, then you need to implement the above tips in your life consistently. You should not follow the tips only for a few days and then give up. You should be prepared to make lifelong changes.
