How To Bleach Your White Clothes

Bleach is a term usually used for what is otherwise known as a solution of sodium hypochlorite normally which releases hydrogen peroxide or even calcium hypochlorite. Before you ever open a jug of bleach it's important that you understand what you are dealing with.

One of the biggest keys to remember is to wash your whites on a regular basis, especially when it comes to perspiration stains. You want to eliminate those as soon as possible and prevent them from ever setting in. Put your soiled clothes in the washer, fill it with warm water and add detergent. Let the wash cycle run for 3/4 of the way, then add bleach. Always remember the moment you add bleach it renders your detergent or soap useless.

Never add more bleach than recommended because too much can weaken clothing fibers. The directions on the bleach bottle call for adding a specific amount to whiten your clothes and for good reason too. Excess bleach is harsh on the material, and it can yellow the clothes you are trying to whiten! Always remember bleach is a very strong chemical and hence, must be used with utmost care.

Now if you are asking about how to choose between different brands from which to buy bleach I would suggest you to look at the quality and not price of the brand. Because suppose you go for a low price brand which doesn't make proper concentrations of your bleach solution then in place of white clothes you will find clothes with riddled holes. Go for Clorox bleach products. Their products have quite a reputation in the market and if used as instructed are very safe.
