How To Become Truly Happy

By:

Daily life doesn't always go the way we want.. Sometimes, when things get too tough, I look around me and find persons who continue to live amazing lives. And then my thoughts appear from nowhere - "Why is it that their life is so great? What makes them able to savor life so much even though they are living in the same world I do? Then I start to think ... Maybe they started working on their happiness from the inside out.

So, how does one become truly happy?

The first step is to love yourself. Loving yourself means to realize that we're imperfect beings, but you must have great courage to be able to find ways to start self-improvement within and be able to start to improve.

Genuine happiness also pertains to contentment. When you are satisfied with your family and friends, about the work you do, how you look and feel, your home, the stuff you now have - truly, you have already answered the question "how can you be fully happy?."

I really imagine that life is about striving and failing, winning and losing. These are an ordinary part of life and must be used as a component of our natural learning process. Disappointment, in anyone's life, is as important as air and is no reason to keep us from being happy.

How then can you be really happy in spite of it all? Truthfully... every time you put effort and hard work into augmenting the quality of your life, whether it's guiding someone, taking your dog for a stroll, working on your home business, or reading a motivational book, life gives you an comparable boost.

Real happiness isn't always about being the very best looking one of the group, driving the most luxurious car, getting the top prize, or getting that pay raise. Sometimes, the biggest prizes in life don't always go to the biggest, the best, the toughest and maybe not even the very best person.

So, how do we become truly happy? Every one has his own interpretation. Happiness for a writer may mean composing a best-selling book. Happiness for a prizefighter may be a knock-out punch. Happiness for a impoverished person may mean a roof over his head. Happiness for a small business man may mean beating a competitor.

So, really now, what is authentic happiness? Simple. You don't need to have all the finest things in life. Its all about making the best out of every single thing. When you find yourself laughing at your slip-ups and intending to do even better next time, you are lighting up within yourself the strength to stick it out and that will stay with you throughout life. You will find yourself determined to try again and again - that will definitely make you a truly happy person.

When you can sincerely accept yourself and your own shortcomings, you've already started the path to becoming genuinely happy. For as long as you know how to love and welcome others, you will also be appreciated and welcomed ten-fold.

Again, to that same query "how to become sincerely happy?". Someone once said.. "We all know that laughter is the best medicine to life's little challenges, but most of us don't realize that the best use of laughter is laughing at ourselves.

Because then you're not just happy and ecstatic ... you become completely limitless!
