To start, you only have to create an account and then start bidding on freelance writing gigs. Sounds easy, right? It is easy, except that here online, there are so many good writers and wannabe writers, it can be very challenging to get yourself, and your services, noticed.

In my experience, people who are out to hire writers usually base their hiring decisions on the following:

* Price - The decent price range for ezine articles are from $5 to $8 per piece. (The price is lower for article rewrites.) Website copy commands a much higher price, with some website copywriters being hired on a profit-sharing basis. Still, others are paid per hour or per piece.
