How To Beat Depression Once And For All

How To Beat Depression Once And For All

By:

Before i continue, i would like to take a few moments to share something - I have lived with severe depression for a very long time, and have tried many different things in order to try to get rid of depression - Thanks to Allah, i now am not only a better human being, but also know, see, hear, and understand more. I still believe that the only way to truly do away with depression, is to become a very, very, very good Muslim, insha Allah. Nevertheless, i not only believe, but also hope that the below information may be of some help to you, as it is based on research, trial and error.

Multivitamins may help with the relief of mild depression - It is a fact that nowadays more and more people are deficient in vitamins and nutrients, either due to a poor diet which may be partially caused by the unclean, chemical induced, and poisoned foods that many of us eat on a daily basis. Giving your body a good Multivitamin, may at least try to compensate, in a very mild way, for poor eating habits and a lack of good quality and truly natural food. If you are uncertain as to which Multivitamin to buy, i may have some suggestions.
While taking a Multivitamin may help with relief of Mild Depression, it is simply not enough, but may instead and possibly be a step in the right direction.

Rhodiola has been proven to relieve both Mild Depression and Moderate Depression - Rhodiola is not a miracle herbal supplement, and i don't believe there is such a thing. It has been proven that there is roughly an eighty percent chance that taking Rhodiola on a daily basis, can in fact decrease the negative effects of depression. It works by slightly increasing Serotonin levels - please ensure that you are not taking any medication that increases or suppresses serotonin before taking Rhodiola - There is a lot of information about this plant root, and its benefits. One should not think of this as the ultimate and only solution to anything, as it is there to possibly assist, insha Allah (if Allah wills).
Please note that Rhodiola may in most cases increase "estrogen" in women. Lower doses, ranging from 100 mg of Rhodiola to 300 mg of Rhodiola are recommended for women. Please notify your doctor of this to know weather or not Rhodiola might be right for you. Women who either have, or have had cancer, are urged not to take Rhodiola, while this small warning does not appear to have been researched adequately, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
While Rhodiola Rosea might be a very helpful adaptogen - helping the body to cope better with stressful situations - assisting women to deal with menopausal symptons - and a variety of other benefits, we must not forget that as a herbal, is has not received enough research on long term use - long term being many years.
Rhodiola Rosea may also increase androgen, the male hormone. I'm giving Rhodiola Rosea a test run, and am not too conserned about the extra androgen. As time passes, i will have as many tests as my doctor will permit to be done on me, and will write down the results here, along with any and all side-effects of Rhodiola Rosea. Until then, you decide weather or not you want to take this plant.
Dosage of Rhodiola Rosea for men ranges from 250 mg per day, to 500 mg of Rhodiola Rosea per day. Higher dosage is inadvisable, as positive effects can be obtained with time, not with overdoze.
While the recommended dosage appears high, it does not signify that 100MG of Rhodiola Rosea will not be sufficient in the long run.

Vitamin D3 may help with the relief of Mild Depression and Moderate Depression and Severe Depression - Many of us lack vitamins, and this specific vitamin can not be taken from food. It is produced when we're outside in the sun, and our skin is exposed. Some people are so deficient in this vitamin, that they may in fact develop depression due to a Vitamin D Deficiency. I would recommend taking 1,000 UI to 15,000 UI of Vitamin D3 daily, and such a large supply should last nearly five months, if taking only 1,000 UI of vitamin D daily. Or for a higher dosage of 5,000 UI of Vitamin D3 daily.
note: it would be best to squeeze the vitamin D3 from the softgels, and then discard the softgel. simply put the vitamin d3 softgel in our mouth, squeeze the softgel of vitamin d3 with your teeth, and once all of the vitamin d3 is out of the softgel and into your mouth, spit out the empty softgel and throw it in the garbage.
note: recommended dosage of vitamin d3 for vitamin d deficiency is 4,000 UI per day. recommended dosage of vitamin d3 for depression is 4,000 IU per day for mild depression - 10,000 IU per day for moderate depression - 15,000 IU for severe depression. I try to take from 4,000 IU of vitamin d, to 10,000 IU of vitamin d, daily, taken two to three times per day.

5-HTP has been proven to relieve Mild Depression, Moderate Depression, and Severe Depression in some cases - 5-HTP works by giving your body an abundance of Serotonin, while not overloading things. I caution anyone from taking this along with any other Herbal or Synthetic medication that increases Serotonin Levels, as it is very possibly to become sick and die from Serotonin Oversoze. Please consult your doctor before using. Do not take more than 300 MG per day. Please note that while some people find it easier to get a good night worth of sleep, others develop Insomnia if they take it before bedtime. We are all slightly different, and should take it into consideration. While 5-HTP is not a miracle cure, or a miracle herbal, it has been found to help people with both Depression and Inability to sleep well. It has also been of some use with regards to slight mood improvement.
Please note that you should first consult your doctor before taking 5-HTP, then start off with 100 MG per day for the first week, and if it does not seem to be enough, you may choose to increase the dose to 200MG per day for the second week, and if it does not seem to be enough, you may choose to increase the dose to 300 MG per day. If 300 MG per day is not sufficient, i caution you to the dangers of taking too much, as it can be dangerous. While taking 100 to 300MG per day is considered safe, it does not mean that it is safe for everyone, nor does it mean that more than 300 MG per day can be taken.
While the recommended dosage by certain "herbalists" may be 300 MG of 5-htp per day, it does not mean that taking 50 MG per day will not be sufficient.

Serotonin Syndrone - Serotonin Poisoning - mild symptoms are - increased heart rate, shivering, sweating, dialated pupils, intermediate tremor or twitching, over responsive reflexes - Moderate symptons are - hyperactive bowel sounds, high blood pressure and hyperthermia, a temperature as high as 40 degrees celcius. Serotoni Syndrome information taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serotonin_syndrome

Note1: Please consult your doctor before taking any medication - be it herbal or off the counter
Note2: If it seems too good to be true and it is outside of Islam, it probably it too good to be true and has been taken out of proportion
Note3: There are many so called "Cures" that cost a lot of money, there for i would like you to ask yourself the following question - "Would a good person charge a lot of money for something that may be of help to a lot of people?" I personally don't believe so.
Note4: Some Herbals take weeks, others take months, and some can even take up to a year to give you true and worthy results. Please take this as worthy information to remember, as there is no instant fix that does not come with a price too high... So high, that if i could have the chance to make choices that i made when i was younger, insha Allah, i would have made different choices... I would have chosen to be Muslim, and stay away from the forbidden things !
