Dealing with the stress can be much easier when you know ways how to avoid it. Still, the most important is the ability to relax and deal with your everyday problems, because you can't expect that you will be able to avoid stressful situation every time.

When level of the stress increases, try to take a few deep breaths. Long and deep breathing can help you to settle down so you will be able to rethink the situation once more instead of acting in anger or fear.

There are not many people who can work the whole day and stay happy and relaxed. The fact is that even simple work without any breaks can increase level of stress. This is why you should remember about short breaks at different points of the day which will help you to clear your mind and rest your body. You can, for example, go for a short walk or get some fresh air, the most important thing is to concentrate for a moment about something else, instead of continuous thinking about your work.

Don't forget about doing some exercises every day. Their proper portion will help you get rid of the stress by relaxing and improving your body. Remember that mind and flesh are in fact one organism, when one fails the second won't stay intact. Still, to make your everyday exercises efficient, you can't forget about a proper diet. Without it you won't be able to supply your body with enough nutrients and you will risk serious nutrient deficiencies and health problems that will only add to your stress.

Reduce the amount of coffee you drink. Try to have one or two cups in the morning, but later drink tea instead of it. Coffee tends to increase stress level and in larger quantities can be dangerous to your health. Never use drugs or alcohol to relax. They are highly addictive and can cause more problems than you can imagine.

When you see that you can't organize your time and manage your schedule, it means that it is the right time to start working on yourself. Don't get frustrated with the initial failures, remember that with constant practicing you will soon make progress, so try to think positively. Negative thinking won't solve any problems, it may only create a few more. Even in perils you should have a positive outlook on life, only then you will be able to act efficiently.

One of your best weapons against stress is your own sense of humor. Let yourself to be unserious for a while and you will immediately see that many things that concerns you are far less complicated than you expected. By laughing and having some fun you can also learn to show your emotions. Remember that hiding them can be disastrous to yourself and your surroundings.
